Explaining the Need to Go to College

Little kids usually ask why is there is a need for them to go to college. Their parents would usually explain that they need to pursue a higher level of education, as the bachelor’s degree, in order for them to have a better and stable job in the future. This article aims to provide you with the best and appropriate reason for you to know that it is really important for you to go to college.

Obviously, college is simply a place of education.  It is a ground of its being and students usually go to college to know, be assured that knowledge is sweet and powerful, and that a good and higher level of education liberates the mind and makes us better citizens of our country and of the world. It prepares us for the future. It prepares us for a better future and a brighter tomorrow. You see, we are living in a fast changing world and everything here is about competition.

You compete to have a job. You wanted to have a job in order to sustain your family with their daily needs. But you can’t have a job that is well-compensated without having a college education. Usually, companies and employers look for applicants who have accomplished their higher level of education because they believe that they are more equipped to have the job. This is where the answer to the question “Why there is a need to go to college?” sinks in.
